The Community Ministries Department puts ‘Christian love’ into action in the church and local communities. The department follows the example of Jesus by recognizing the importance of meeting people’s practical and material needs, before addressing their spiritual needs.  The ministry runs a Food Bank service for the neighbourhood every Thursday evening between 6pm and 8pm on the church premises.

Other services offered by the department include; visitation to families with new babies, bereaved families, the sick and elderly in their homes and in hospitals to offer support in kind and in prayers. We sometimes offer support through telephone calls if this is preferred by the individual. We offer assistance during crisis and work with other departments in the church to support affected individuals and to help them find long-term solutions. Lastly, we organise other activities such as Health Expo, Social events, etc.

May God continue to bless us all as we endeavour to do His work through our diverse outreach programmes.
